Understand your legal options before making your next financial decision. Confidential, case-specific guidance from experienced legal professionals.
We regularly assist clients dealing with loans from major Indian banks and financial institutions.
SettleEdge Legal is an independent law firm focused on loan settlement, debt resolution, banking disputes, and legal advisory services.
We work in association with SettleWithGyani, an independent financial resolution and client-support brand, so clients get end-to-end assistance — from financial guidance and settlement planning to legal support when it's needed. Both entities operate independently while collaborating on shared cases.
If any of these feel familiar, you are not the first — and there are structured, legal ways to respond.
Repeated calls at work or home can feel overwhelming. Knowing what recovery agents may and may not do is the first step.
Persistent follow-ups and visits can be stressful. A structured legal response can help restore order to the conversation.
When several EMIs compete for one salary, prioritisation and restructuring options deserve a careful look.
Money worry affects health, sleep and focus. Clarity about your legal position often reduces the anxiety itself.
A notice is not a verdict. Understanding what it means — and the timelines that apply — matters before you respond.
Different resolution routes affect credit reports differently. It helps to weigh those implications in advance.
Debt is rarely a private burden. A clear, professional plan can bring reassurance to everyone involved.

Every matter follows a structured, transparent process. What is suitable for your case depends on its facts, the lender's policies and applicable law.
We begin by listening — your loans, income, obligations and what has changed. No judgement, full confidentiality.
Depending on your circumstances, options may include restructuring, negotiation, representation, or responding to notices — each weighed on merit.
Where applicable, we prepare a case-specific strategy with realistic expectations, clear documentation and defined next steps.
Where suitable, we can assist with lender communication, negotiation support and reviewing settlement or restructuring paperwork.
Circumstances evolve. We stay available for questions, follow-ups and course corrections until your matter concludes.

Case-specific assessment of personal loan difficulties, including hardship communication, restructuring possibilities and negotiation assistance where appropriate.
Advisory for proprietors and MSMEs facing business loan stress — reviewing facility documents, security implications and potential restructuring or resolution routes.
Careful reading of demand letters, recovery notices and legal communications — explaining what they mean, applicable timelines, and how a response may be framed.
One-to-one consultation with experienced legal professionals to obtain a professional legal opinion on your matter and the options that may apply to it.
Help organising, reviewing and preparing the documentation that lenders and forums typically require — statements, hardship letters, correspondence records and more.
Where suitable, structured support during discussions with lenders — preparing positions, reviewing proposals and documenting any agreed terms accurately.
Plain-language guidance on borrower protections, fair recovery practices and grievance mechanisms available under applicable regulations.
We would rather tell you what is realistic than what is comfortable to hear.
Your matter is handled by professionals who work with debt and recovery issues every day.
No templates, no assumptions — your facts determine which options are worth pursuing.
Clear timelines, clear costs, clear limitations — stated upfront and in writing.
What you share stays protected. Discretion is a professional obligation, not a promise.
Every step stays within the framework of applicable law and fair-practice norms.
Decisions remain yours. Our role is to make sure they are informed ones.
No pressure tactics, no unrealistic promises, no advice that puts you at legal risk.
No. Every matter depends on its facts, the lender's policies, applicable law, and other circumstances. A consultation helps determine what options may be available in your specific case.
Credit implications vary depending on the resolution method chosen and your individual circumstances. Some routes may be reported differently than others, and reporting practices differ between lenders. We explain the likely implications of each option before you decide.
Some matters may not be suitable for settlement at all. In those cases, alternative legal or financial options — such as restructuring, hardship arrangements, or formal dispute mechanisms — may be more appropriate. The right route depends on a case-specific review.
Timelines differ based on the lender, documentation, the course of negotiations, and the complexity of the matter. After reviewing your case, we can share a realistic indicative timeline — and keep you updated as it progresses.
We publish only genuine, verifiable client feedback. The placeholders below will be replaced before launch.

Loan settlement is the discretion of the respective lenders, and only they are authorized to issue settlement letters. We do not have the authority to issue any settlement letter or debt waiver certificate. Our role is limited to providing legal and procedural support for which we charge a nominal monthly fee.
Clients need to pay the settlement amount directly to the lenders on receipt of the settlement letters. We do not promise any loan waiver or settlement guarantee since it is the discretion of the lender.
Loan settlement should be considered only in cases of genuine financial hardship. Clients are strongly encouraged to explore all possible options to meet their repayment obligations to lenders before opting for loan settlement.
Our endeavour is to assist borrowers in resolving their debt problems in a legal and lawful manner, in accordance with the guidelines provided by the regulatory authorities from time to time.
